It's a gizmo-like device used to water acres of crops in drought-affected areas. Irrigants help irrigation systems to perform at peak optimal levels, by means of a doo-hicky that attaches counter-clockwise to a whatchamacallit, to vacuum H2O, even when the natural water supply is below less than adequate reserve levels.
Called this number back and it said that this number was disconnected. Then they called back and asked for my SS number. I didn't do it though.
Why does everyone think it's a scam. It's a recording. I have a telephone interview appointment on 5-26. The number called me today and left the recorded message on my voice mail. It said if I have any questions, then I should call another number. But I don't have any questions, because all the SSA was doing was calling me with a courtesy reminder of my phone appointment. I would think it would have to be an "inside job", if they knew all the details about my phone number, what day and especially, what time my phone appointment was. Sometimes people get too carried away about these calls. I DID experience a suspicious call right after my lawyer filed for my SSDI application. It was a man that left a message saying please call me back at some number, because there was certain information left off my original SSDI filing form that they needed to process my case. I talked to a representative from SSA, and they said they have my application right there, and no one from SSA would call me and ask me questions about my original application. Apparently, all those applications for SSDI and SSI become "public records" as soon as they are filed, which makes any applicant an easy target for scammers, especially if you are elderly, or somewhat gullible.
i got thecall didnt answer checked it out here and saw its eiher ascam or SS calling baout my wifes appointment so i left it laone answered it when i called again 4 hours laer the number did not ask for anything but had arecording to call them back if i have any question or need to change my appointment and that i would need to call thenational number which is diferent from that one to change if i did want to not a scam unless someone calls form that number asking for personal information my advice answer it if you have an appointment the next business day becuase it will call you back until you do
My local Social Security Office was calling to remind me of an previously scheduled appointment....Hardly a SCAM !
I have an appointment at the Social Security Office for tomorrow. I turned 62 last week and I'm filing for my Social Security Benefits. The call was to remind me of the appointment that I made with them. The paranoia level of some of you people is hard to believe !
misssed call/// tried returning call from caller id////got recorded mx that did not sound like typical recording voice saying " this number not in servive and no new # available "......a web site says this is a legit # in dallas and for 15 $ they will give me details ! ..............
This telephone number is a one way only number, owned my the Socail Security Administration, and it's sole purpose is to remind people of either telephone interviews, or in person interviews for applicants of SSI, or SSD, or existing clients already receiving benefits. It is a one time call only, made by a bot, or sometimes a real person if they are slow, which is rare, and they do not ask you any questions about your social security number, or anything else, as they already know more about you than you could tell them. I work for the SSA, and this is not a "scam" in any way, as reported by the people with the black helicopters landing in their back yards!!Thanks!!Knuckles
My wife took the call but could not understand the message. Caller ID American Voice. Sounds a bit strange to me.
