Just because someone, whether an employer or someone else, tells you to do something, you can make the choice not to do that. No job is worth compromising MY integrity. Obviously, those people do not hold themselves to the same standards.

Obviously you've never had a family solely dependent upon you for sheer survival. You cannot speak for against anyone's moral integrity until you've been in their position. Collecting is a necessity in any business which deals with clients and payment. If people paid their bills collectors would not be necessary.

I think what they were trying to say is that after one is told the person no longer works somewhere and notes are made the person whom receives the file again should look at all the notes and not call the previous place of employment. It can save on timely run around. And will stop the frusteration of the employer. And you never know the circumstance sin which a debt was not paid so before speaking down on those who can not pay debt think how you would feel if some unforseen situation came up and you could no longer cover your bills.

It seems my friend put me as a contact for a loan he took out. When I answered they said "hi this is Lee Barnes calling about {FRIEND'S NAME}" which is fairly annoying.You'd think ACE would require my authorization to be listed as a contact on a loan, but not.

i want to say thank you ALL for this site i learn a lot from all the commet ....this is a cool site....oh i got a call from this number his name is Mr. People now what kind of name is that I though my name was wierd already Mr.People He could have say his name was Bin Laden I would have call him back and meet him some where so I can make my million $$$$ Mr. People LOL ....please tell me if they would give me a payday loan if i show them my school ID i was born on 04/17/1997 stupid people.

The call stated they are calling on behalf of a friend and they stated his name; gave me a case number and her name was Ms. Oliver the case manager. And they called me on my job. Said the call was very important.

Received a call from a Mr. Phillips on my VM from this number informing me that I needed to contact him by 7pm in order for him to make a decision on whatever case he was referring to. If I don't know the number calling, I will not answer the phone. These types of calls are annoying. Besides, he used my nickname when he called. I always use my full given name when doing business.

This woman called my brother and sister in law and told them that I need to return a call to her no later than 1P.M. this friday I called and left a message telling her not to bother my brother again. We shall see. Will keep you posted.
