Excellent post, Richard. I'd also like to add that several cordless phone makers have models with call block options. I'm sure everyone can see the utility of this in dealing with lying turds like these. I use Panasonic, myself, and it works very well. I've mostly found service provider blocking almost worthless. AT&T only allows ten numbers, only in your area, and then apparently it does not apply to anyone you actually want blocked. Hence, the value of this feature built into the phone.After all... They didn't call to have a conversation, so why even let them talk to my family or my answering machine?

Checks stolen in the mail, altered them, and Ace Cash America cashed them. I found out about the forgery, and closed the account before they wiped me out. Now Ace Cash had the checks refused by the Bank and want me to cover it??? Idiots ! They need to go after the thief they cashed them for, as they were stupid and took an altered check a 3rd grader could tell was forged !!!! Risk you take when your in the check cashing business and take any old check, JUST TO GET YOUR EXHORBITANT CHECK CASHING FEE !! QUIT WHINING, TAKE YOUR LOSS AND QUIT CALLING MY ?$%^& NUMBER !!!! Calls my job and was very rude to my supervisor. The person they are looking for nolonger work with this company.

Info needed two weeks ago i wrote a ck out to a friend to cash for 300 dollars. After ck was cashed the ck i got for job came back which caused a problem i called to let ace know my ck for 300 would come back and to let me know when it does which they did at time i was trying to get money from people who wrote me ck. In mean time i pd 200.00 on the 300.00 i wrote. Can they have me arrested for anything since they excepted partial payment and threathen me thank you

I received two calls on my cell phone from this number, no messages were left. When I searched online I found the above comments. Very confused as I do not have any outstanding debts and do not know how this company would get my cell number unless it was a misdial. I do have my name on the voice mail message.Very disturbing Is there a way to report to FTC?

What is this company? An abrasive, rude woman called my wife's mobile phone number asking for me. Then, when I tracked down the company name and number, they had no record of my name or phone number. Why would this person be calling me and how did they get my wife's cell of all things???

I received the same call and he stated he was investigating a loan that I had taking out and said that I owed money and he would settle the case for 260.00 someone needs to put a stop to this.
