All these posts don't make make mention of prepaid phones, no contract, throw aways. I'm not on any kind of plan that relays personal info I.e. Number, name and address not connected.....so how did these people get my number? I have little to no credit, no bank, credit cards, no job, etc.....super creepy to think how my info was accessed. I understand these people are performing quality assurance, send a letter, if you do know my info, want a response, give people a self addressed check box post card to whom it may concern at this address. Just because you have information doesn't make it right to use it. My autistic child deserves my undivided attention, not you. They called me during his homework time yesterday and homework time today, refocusing is no easy task. My phone is for my convenience. Leave a message or my ringer will remain off.
Rec'd call on 4/22..ID said Certified Audit. I did not pick up phone. No message left. Sounds like a scam.
Got the call from this scum on Sunday morning! Caller ID said: CAC. Don't know the caller and nobody in the 973 Area Code. Let the call go to my answering machine. Silence and then they hung up. Blocked future calls. PITA! Can't believe a scammer call on a Sunday!? They need to go to church or wherever and pray for their souls, if they have any!
I have reported to our atty. gen office and received a nice note back saying that they don't have the resources to investigate these types of offenses. Best bet is to pass this stuff around social media to warn others. Maybe some good can be done between the cat and food pictures.
Not a scam..they work for Newspapers, phone books...etc. They usually check up after a complaint or a problem. Had a problem with a local paper delivery..contacted me to find out if it was resolved. They will stop calling if you ask them.
