My cell phone must have been added to some call list because I've been getting a bunch of solicitation calls. This one was a recorded voice asking if I had received the new YP Yellow Pages with a picture of Minute Maid Park (Houston, TX) on the cover. It asked me to select 1 for Yes or 2 for No. I hung up.

I am on the DO NOT CALL list. Please DO NOT CALL my number. They leave no message.

They need to add Option 3 - I don't know and I don't care.I get phone books on my porch from time to time. I don't think I've even removed them from the plastic bag. Right into recycling it goes or it just stays on my porch.

Maybe I'm just old. Maybe I'm just crabby. Maybe I'm just old and crabby. Southwestern Bell always has put phone books on my porch. It used to be a part of your telephone service. When more and more folks stopped using the actual books they jobbed out the delivery to every place with a phone. Then they sold the Yellow Page company itself. This call is from an auditing agency hired by the new company to check on delivery services to people who still want the book and delete those who don't want a book. Sounds like they need to do a better job but if your address has a phone or even used to has a phone YOU can control this eventually by actually talking to the company. This is not a scam. Scammers do not hold themselves out as a real business since 1914.

I've also been called daily by this outfit over the course of the last couple weeks, and no,I'm not answering it to find out if it's related to the telephone books recently thrown in the ditch up and down our road. It's their trash, not mine (or apparently half the streets either) so there it / they can stay until hopefully someone cites them for littering.

I just got a call from them. Not sure why they'd be calling me, since I live in Canada!

The calls from this number were made to our cell phone numbers so they should not have anything to do with Yellow Pages. We did not answer the calls and no message was left by the callers. I classify the calls as bogus.

Got a call from them today... just told them "I don't know a soul in New Jersey, so I am hanging up on you." no idea who they are.

Said nothing when I answered the phone. Held on to the line. Hung up when answer machine came on.7:54 pm I called back to ask them not to call my house again.

Today this number called me for the first time. I did not answer. The CID said Certified Audit.
