Got the same call. It kept stating that a restraining order will be placed upon me; I do not have any loans out period; well they are full of it, this is a total scam. Let them come and get anyone cause when you place a restraning order on anyone you can not contact that person period. Restraining orders are issued by a judge and are intended to protect those who fear for their own safety, that I need to contact my attorney. These dips need to go back to law school, and not try to get the degree out of a cracker jack box....
I just got the same call...first at my home and now at work regarding an unspecified legal action because I am named as a participant. If someone calls and does not identify for whom they are calling, I consider it bogus.
I work at a bankruptcy law firm and have had a terrible time getting any contact info on these nut jobs! Had to call 15 times in a row from 4 different phone lines, but finally got an answer...I got a address for these quacks...of course it is a PO Box, no surprise!! Looked up white pgs. Akron Ohio. It says this phone is on a Manchester rd. and or swigart rd in Akron. Site says 8 adults live in these addresses. Site wanted me to pay to find out more info, names etc. Not sure if this is correct,Google this # see what you can see.
Just got a call threatening unspecified legal action - something about a restraining order and contacting employer. these people need to get a life
why would there be a restraining order on a debt? I don't understand that. I thought restraining orders were to keep someone AWAY from you, not to collect something. My 14 year old son is getting this call on his cell. I can't get anyone to take his number off the calling list. It is just wasting his minutes which is frustrating.

Just got a call from this company. Saying exactly the same thing everyone has said. What these scammers do is bet your credit report and look for something that is about to be charged off. Then they mess with you. I had the same company do this to me about 3 years ago and when I said I was consulting a lawyer about my legal options the calls stopped.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
