Same here...threats..voicemail..no direct contact..and impossible to reach

These people are real pieces of work. If they would spend the time doing something constructive rather then coming up with these stupid little childish pranks well maybe the world would be a better place. I have been getting these calls for about a month now. Several different numbers call and I don't answer them unless I'm bored. I like to play games with them and usually if it's a female caller I'll let her go through her little [***] bit then ask her if she likes [***]. That usually gets her to hang up. I did get spoofed the other day and the woman said yes. Well back to the drawing board....

Got 3 calls stating I was to return call with in 24 hrs or they were calling my place of employment to verify I work there, also stating had a restraining order and I was to contact my lawyer . I tried calling them back several times and all I got was a voicemail for me to leave my number and it would be sent to someone's pager and they will call me back. Never received any calls back.

Just recieved a call from 216-644-1249 about a restaining order and contact my lawyer or they will contact my employer! Sounds very fishy!! Why would have i have a restraining order on me!! Sounds like a scam!! SO SAD!!

Yeah same here they just called me told me the same thing as you guys...

I just received the same threatening phone call, and when I pushed the subject about it being a scam he said that a lot of people put that out there because they do not like paying their bills. I got his name James Collins but I don't think it is a real name when I asked to speak with a supervisor he said sure and then hung the phone up.

received a call on my verizon cellphone 216-644-1249 about attorneys and restraining orders and that i should contact them immediately when i looked up thi number i see i am not the only one they are harassingthis is terrible - they did not even state their name

Calls from this place is a joke. They only use scare tactics. Ignore them if you can.

The term "restraining order" is often meant simply to intimidate the victims. Also, when pressed, some of these scammers have told targets the restraining order "legal prevents (the victim) from contacting the original creditor".They are also deliberative misleading with the language they use --- the often use terms like "pending" or "possible" legal action, as well as "pre litigation" or "a file in my office". If you parse the actual statement they make, often the mean nothing.
