My granddaughter who is 12 years old, recieved this threatening message, on her cell phone this morning. They are calling her employer...getting a restraining order....and on and on if she does not repsond, pay up or .......WOW. How weird.
do these people just like to scare you I have 24 hours or else they are going to do something against my name will they ever go away

My G.F, and I got the same call 3 weeks apart. She has a bad heart and threatining phone calls get her all shook up.
Company called me and left a message. This is totally false just a scam to attempt to try and get money out of people whom don't know any better. This is just a scam, request that they send documents in written. Even better yet request that they send the documents straight to your attorney. See how fast these companies that are scamming discontinue the call.By law if you advise somebody that you have a lawyer, for any legal purposes that company can't attempt to settle with you or do anything without lawyer consent. No matter the company if you think legitimate or scam do not ever settle or pay anything over the phone without getting something in writing.
No, this is not specific to any carrier or specific type of phone line for that matter. My co-worker received these calls for months on her cell phone ( provider SPRINT) and just a few hours ago I received the exact same call, but with my name inserted on our office phone ( provider VERIZON).
Got the same calls from "unknown". Have no clue what's going on but I have no intentionOf calling them back. After reading these posts I realize my gut feeling was right. It's aScam
