I received an email from what appeared to be Bank of America. Then, not even thinking about it, clicked on the link that took me to a sight that looked exactly like BoA! I submitted sensitive information to this site to 'confirm' my identity so my BoA account wouldn't be locked.....The next day, I received a couple of calls from the 302-731-1166 number. I wasn't able to answer. I tried calling back, but I only got a busy signal.Watch out for the 'fishing' email!! It got me.Now I have to change everything.

I got a call from the same number. I have never done business with Bank of America. I do not have any accounts with them. So I am confused to why they would call me or why they have my number. I have only gotten this cell phone about 4 months ago.

Called me 2 times. I called B of A. Not them calling. I called the FCC at 1-888-225-5322 and filed a complanit. You should do the same!!!!!!

It's true...I had to hunt down my cards to find their 800 number. Some [***] tried to buy $1,933.43 worth of stuff from www.armynavydeals or some such. But check it out...it was on a card that I thought was deactivated because Bank of America issued me a new card in 2012 and the charges were made against the OLD card number from 2011. I thought a new card automatically cancelled the old one but I never 'activated' the new one. Idiot that I am. I thought if I left it inactive then it couldn't be used. I didn't realize it let the old one alive. Sheesh. I was lucky they had my cell phone number and I'm glad I looked up the number. If you get a new card, activate it, don't be stupid or naive like I was thinking it was better not to activate a card until you needed it. It leaves the old one (provided is hasn't hit it's expiration date) active!

i got two phone calls this am and i answered the second one. the number shown on my caller id is 3027311166. i asked the person who she called from. she said "we answered the call for american express, visa and master." i told her i don't have american express. she said "call your credit card company." i told her i had several cards, and asked her which one. the answer remained the same: call your credit card number.she gave me a "[***] answer." i doubt if this is from bank of america. i reported this to bank of america and expect them to answer me. but meanwhile, DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER, not even telling her what cards you have.

I got the number called. The man from Band of America said that they found a few of transactions were odds, so they called and verify if we had made those transactions. No any personal information was asked during the phone conversation. Right after I talked to him, I called Bank of America to confirm if that phone call was legitimate. Yes, it was.

Today I've got a call from (302)731-1166. Since this # is not familar to me, so I checked it online. And saw your post there saying this # is from Bank of America Credit Card Fraudulent Service". I called the # and it was busy. Then I called the 800# Customer Service showing on the back of my credit card. As always, I was asked to enter my last four digits of my account number, which I did. Then I was asked to enter my social security number, which was very unsual and has never been done before, But I also did. Then the voice in the phone said that please enter "1" at any time if I couldn't recognize or were not familiar with the charges when they read all the charges on my credit account. I immdiatelly realized that it was not right right after the first charge was read to me. Then I entered "1", and was connected right away to the real person at the Customer Service. After they verified with me for my residential address and email address, and I told them the last purchase I used my credit card to make the payment. After a short while, I was told that they would close my current account and would issue new card to me within days. Although I am upset and frustrated about this instance, I appreciate so much for the great job that Bank of America has done. I also want to say "go to the hell" to those nasty thieves.

Three call during the night - even 0800 this morning (SUNDAY) I called it back, it does not ID who the number is when voice message answered saying all ops were busy, please hold. If this were BANK OF AMERICA they would ID themselves.....DONT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD ###.. Report this to BANK OF AMERICAN and the FCC

This apparently is a "Fraud in Progress" alert from Bank Of America.I didn't answer this call but later called the Customer Service number at the back of my Credit Card after i noticed some fraudulent activity on my A/C.They told me that the call was from their Fraud Prevention team.

This # is with Bank of America. It is their Fraud department. You need to call them back to verify charges. Call the 800 # on the back of your card and ask to speak to their fraud department. That will provide peace of mind in case you have any doubt . . . .
