sick and tired of scams number is temp unavailable when you call it they say their w/windows etc. want to get into your computer are people really that stupid and our government cant control this it is a joke. really feel for the seniors who are being scammed of their money.
Called , said my computer was going to crash. I told him I don't have a computer... Only a laptop, which is currently not working.
Amy called, some Indian guy tells me there's a problem with my computer, my response was "go [***] yourself [***]" Hopefully they wont call back
Seeing that the only computer i have is my work computer and it is locked down pretty hardcore by our IT team, i decided to have fun with the caller. With over the top surprise in my voice i asked the caller to PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME, SAVE ME FROM THIS MALICIOUS MALWARE INFECTING ME. After asking me to tell him what i saw on my screen, i told him "My screen is telling me you are full of crap", to which he promptly told me in his thick Indian accent "Oh yeah, keep that crap to yourself". He soon hung up on me. I hope he calls back, how else will i get this malware off my computer.
Received call today and I answered. Didn't say Amy Murphy today, just 'Unavailable'. Indian women on the phone said she was from Computer Maintenance Department of US PC Care and they were receiving error and warning reports from my computer. I asked her which computer, I have 3. She said my personal computer. Again, which one? I asked for her name and she wanted to know why I needed that. Told her so I could report her since this was an obvious scam.
Received a call from the above number. Unknown name on caller ID. I want them to stop calling. Never anyone on the line when I pick up. so aggravating.
I got the call from 330-836-7919 usual Indian with a name of James !!! started going on about the scam about your PC sending signals etc the easy way out -tell them you have a mac-they hang up or to waste their time I sometimes play along-thing is-these indians in India KNOW what they are doing and want to scam people that are not sure about computers - they should all be locked up but we kn now they wont..sometimes I am rather rude to them telling them to go eat a cow or something more ruder ! hey-if they want to scam they gotta expect some feedback :)
Yes I did get a call from Amy Murphy and now that I know she is a scam, I will block her number!
