Guys if they are asking for confirmation of address and phonenumber and not leaving messages and hanging up when you DOanswer I think this is more then just a would be citi or sears bill collector.In fact I owe nothing to sears or Citi so I feel that this is someone whohas hacked into a system somewhere and are trying to get personal informationor just harrassing people Who can we report this to?
What do you mean arrest warrants? threats of arrest are illegal! DEBT IS A CIVIL MATTER -not a criminal matter. YOU CANNOT BE ARRESTED FOR DEBT.

IF THEY DO TAKE YOU TO COURT - MAKE SURE YOU SHOW UP - OTHERWISE THEY GET A DEFAULT JUDGEMENT. You have to go to court and explain that due to economic crisis you do not have jobs and cannot pay it, but once you have income coming in AGAIN you will pay it. I know they don't care - but the courts will probably listen.
