Ok first of all no legit collection agency asks for your personal information! They already have it!!!! Its a scam I get calls from this 513 number and its also a woman and this time she left a msgs.. by accident i think. She was laughing and some other women were also in the background having a conversation.. it did not sound like a a collection agancy or anything else. She said " oh you dont know what to do know do you" started laughing hysterically and hung up. I figured it was a prank call or some crap but seriously dont know anyone near that area code.

Keeps calling no msg

Received a call from this number. I answered in my usual way "Fair City Mental Health Institute" This caught them off guard for a second, but they recovered nicely and asked if a Macy's card holder was present. I stated yes, I have been convicted of stealing Macy cards and using them to buy womens lingerie (I'm a man). They told me I could go to prison for that. I responded, that is my wish sweetheart. The woman on the other end of the phone then said [***]! and hung up. I look forward to such calls here in the East Wing of the FCMHI. :) Have a nice day!

At first I was a little suspicious, but I just found out this is Macy's Collection Dept. It's NOT a scam. If you think they are in error, just ignore it because they might have mistaken the phone number or your name. Otherwise, usually the issues they bring up can be done directly through Macy's credit office instead of this collection agency. I agree though, they were very rude and since the number looks suspicious, anyone could think it is illegitimate.
