Been getting calls from this number non stop for the last 3 weeks. Never leaves a message and when I call back I'm asked to wait for a representative. How do you make them stop?
This person is calling every hour on the hour... Calling my Cell phone... I have no charge accounts, no unpaid bills I presume this is another telemarketer - scam artist foisting their repeated sales pitch upon gullible Americans...I can not believe people will purchase items from unsolicited e-mails, and phone calls. If people were not fish in a barrel these practices would disappear overnight...
i manage a call center (for a transportation membership service) ...and just for the record,.. you can't ALWAYS tell if a caller is black, (or asian or any other ethnicity) but sometimes you CAN...and you're delusional or lying if you say you can't...
This site has really helped me solve the "who the heck is calling me from Ohio!" question. I use to work for Macy's, and they are a very tricky company. They are only out to get your money. It doesn't surprise me that their collection agency, which is truely a separate company, is hounding innocent individuals. They called me because I really did need to pay, but the constant phone calls were really too much to bare. I had a personal experience with their fraud department, which is why I am no longer working for thir crooked company. Allowing customers to use coupons that were sent to their mail box, and then interrogating me in a dark room for 2 hours about every single transaction I have ever done that involved these coupons, is no way to treat someone, especially an employee who has worked with you for 2 years! If you do or do not have a Macy's card, pay it off, cut it up, and refuse to ever open one. Their 21% interest is not worth the 10% they claim you will save! Take it from me, I've seen how the company is run, and it's pure chaos!
The company is choatic. Believe me...they would do this to save a buck. They claim they care about their customers and they boast about their customer service, but their just another business.

I called the Chase number on the back of my card and they said they had NOT called me, said it was scammers. I had two calls on my machine asking me to call them back.

Claim to be discover card. I don't have that disreputable card and haven't had one for 20 years, so they have no reason to call me. Very suspicious.
