Got a call from this number- be aware!! They are fraudulent! Told me I had a past due amount on my Macys account. It was a lie, I had paid on time and next due date was not for another week. The lady was rude when I told her I was going to pay myself online. Be careful everyone!!!

Everytime I pay my Macy's bill, not an hour later my phone rings. I have never answered and this continues on for at least a week, several times a week. One of my theories is that they want me to open an actual Macy's credit card account and get rid of my Macy's store card.

received this call from 513-573-8739 and called to a different phone and they said they were macys/ bloomingdales collection. i dont have a card with them.

I'm in WA and get repeated calls from this number. If you call it back, their recording gives no name, and no name on caller ID.

This isn't the first time that this has happend to me, and it's getting to the point where I don't want to have any credit cards. I had a problem before with an American Express Card not to long ago which I never had one before and they kept calling me and telling my that I had to pay this bill. Which was very werid because I never recieved any kind of mail from this credit card ever. So today I got a call from one number and my daughter told them I wasn't home and said to call back another number. And once I searched this number online I knew that they were going to say that they were Macy's say it was for personal business reasons and im thinking to myself personal business reasons whats that supposed to me mean. I do have an account with Macy's never had a problem and now I have these people calling me repeadtly from all sorts of different numbers telling me that I have an account over due. I'm always on time when it comes to bills. Then they tried saying that it was just a riminder after I spoke with them and gave them a peice of my mind. And I told them that my reminder is the bills that come to my house and I pay them. But before I called the number back I had gone online and I've seen all these differnt people that get these calls and say the same. There needs to be somthing done because it does get overwhelming with a random number calls you and asks you for your information and take it and take your money. I spoke to aleast 3 different people and they all said something differnt to me and I just know that this is a scam. No doubt in my mind. So please do something about this. Thank You

It is a collection agency that Macy's uses. It seemed really shady to me when I called them back, but then I called Macy's corporate office to have them check on the number and they confirmed that they are a legit collections agency. They are rude, inarticulate, and difficult to understand, but fortunately they are not criminals. They just need you to pay something on your bill. Not sure why they don't leave messages. It would be helpful.

Calls are to my cell. No one said anything. I told them not to call again. LOL They have called several times a day for the past 3 days.

They have such a mess with their accounts, they'll call you even when you dont have a balance plus, they will also process any payment you make to whatever account if your not specific, they charge you a late fee and then apologize. I had my macys store card closed several years ago, so when i went to the store and asked to make payment to my MACYS visa it was applied to my store card that had been closed for years. I later received a call so i went over my file for the payments to realize that they had applied it the payment to the store account. So sick of macys broken english speakin operaters, it takes a while before they realize what you're calling about or for you to understand what they are trying to explain to you, It almost seems like they operate all the way from india....HATE MACYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
