Anybody who replies to this and says this number is legitimate is probably part of the scam. THIS IS A SCAM, don't make any mistake about it. NEVER GIVE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ANYBODY WHO CALLS YOU!!!!
I get a call everyday from this number. At first they said it was important and someone would be right with me. I couldn't/didn't want to wait. Now no one answers. I tried to call the number and no one answers. This has been going on for at least 2 months everyday.
I had a missed call from 513-573-8739 on my cell phone, so I called it back from a land line, and an Indian guy answered and started by asking me questions, (Home phone number, name, last four digit of my social security number) and of course I DID NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFO. regarding the last four digit of my social security, and I kept asking him what company he was with, and he didn't answer, and then he put me on hold, and came back and said hold on. I hung up on him. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFO. to this caller/company. If this was a real collection call, I should have first received something in writing by mail.DO NOT TRUST this caller 513-573-8739, and DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFO.DO NOT TRUST this caller 513-573-8739, and DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFO.DO NOT TRUST this caller 513-573-8739, and DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFO.
I have received 2 calls today from this #. No voicemail was left either time. When I called back a lady answered "Credit Services". No idea why they are calling, based on previous posts this does not seem legit.
I keep getting calls at all hours of the day & night. I am a 100% disabled American Vereran & want to know who is making these calls & who especially would call at 3am. It is annoying want it stopped & if possible prosecuteable because I will start one for the highest amount possible.
Agreed!! the same thing happen to me and i realized it after one of their phone calls. They have to find a new way to put their bill together.
I continually got calls from a collection agency and reported them to the state attorney general. There are specific laws in your state about collection agencies. Eventually, they got fined. I also copied my state rep and senator on all the correspondence and that got action.
How stupid could you be?! It's common sense to never share valuable information over the phone. Well I guess you could say you learned your lesson. lol
Mayor Bloomberg of NYC owns a huge amt of Macy's stock. I suggest you send your complaints to his office. I owe nothing to Macy's, in fact, they gave me a check for an overage payment on my acct abt a month ago. Since then, these calls come 5-7 times a day, early and late, 7 days a week. My daddy always taught me to "follow the money" to get anything solved, so, I'm sending my condolences to Mayor Bloomberg about how much business his conglomerated mess is losing/will be losing due to these ignoramous business practices. No one will ever solve anything talking to a little hourly wage part timer at the end of the Macy's "customer service" line....nor solve anything talking to outsourced foreign offices (who, BTW, think we are all a) stupid, fat Americans, and b) a fountain of money for them---any way they can get it). Why do we do these things? You need to go to the REAL source---where the money is. Last, my daddy always taught me to vote with my feet. My feet will never step inside a Macy's again.
