Old Freddie boy is calling me, because the economy killed us financially and at this point there is no such thing as recovering as soon as he takes a step I file and everyone I owe loses. I'd rather things pick up and I pay everyone, but if he jumps first I jump bigger. My lawyer is watching and very willing to cause Freddie some problems if he does anything illegal. to the self righteous who want to bash anyone in the same position I'm in, go for it. I was rolling along just fine until the economy tanked.
This company calls and says they are a collection agency and then want tell you the matter untilyou tell them personal information BE WARE
Marry someone who runs your debt over $25,000 on three separate occasions ($75,000 total.) Live in a house that requires two incomes even though your wife leaves you with two young children,Pay for the divorce, have your home lose $150,000 in value making selling it almost impossible financially. Have your lender cash in the insurance policy through Fannie Mae making them whole, Have Fannie Mae take the house from you, buying it for 43 cents on the dollar through the courts, charging you the difference, taxing you on the forgiven part of the loan, only to sell the house and make twice what they paid for it. Plus whatever money they receive from me extorted through your Uncle's firm. The guy from your uncle's firm (James McCoy??, yea right) would not even tell me what debt he was trying to collect. Your definition of an idiot is someone who trusts others to do what they say will do. There are a lot of us out here. 30% of all homeowners........You should get to know us. Fred has and he's apparently making a killing.
I totally agree with 'File bankruptcy' (posted 25 Feb 2012). There are so many of us who are victims of the economy and have had our incomes greatly decreased or totally lost. Not all of us go get welfare and live off the system. Many of us would much rather work on paying back our debts rather than filing bankruptcy and having those debts erased. There are several so called 'attorneys offices' that call my home. At first I answered those calls. I no longer answer them. Sometimes they leave messages on the answering machine. The people at this company, Frederick Hanna, sound like gangbangers who probably went no farther than fifth grade. Their English is unprofessional and very gutter sounding. It is difficult to understand the messages. Caller ID does not always indentify that its Hanna calling.
The person that these people are looking for is my ex mother in law. It's all automated and they call every single day!!!
Frederick Hanna called from this number: 770-988-9055. They spoke to my husband and asked him to verify my address, SS number, or date of birth. When he declined, he asked the fellow for the company he represented. He said "Alfred Henning," which we'd never heard of. He asked what company he worked for, and the guy said, "For the same reasons you don't want to disclose..." and refused to answer. He said he was bound by law not to say anything. I'm sure it's a credit card debt. My husband lost his job and we haven't paid credit cards for over 6 months. Citibank sued us and got a judgment, so we're paying them, but not the other two.
