Stupid idiot called me at 4 am. I am a musician and army vet so I thought there might have been someone out of state or overseas trying to contact me in an emergency situation. I don't even have a stinkin MasterCard. Stupid. Going back to sleep.
Received 5 calls at 11:35 PM central time.... didn't answer as I saw this page after the second call.
Got this call at 12.39am, was worried as it said my card master card had been de-activated and to press 1 to reactivate it. But was worried nonetheless something was wrong with my card. Checked this site and realized is a scam, also remembered if your card is deactivated your bank will not reactivate under any circumstances, you will get a new card etc.
We have 5 cell phone lines through AT&T and all 5 lines have received calls from this number several times, the last one being at 5:30 this morning. They ranged anywhere between 8pm, 1:30am, and this morning 5:30am. This was the first time I actually answered it, and the recording said the same thing as above, that my prepaid VISA card has been locked, press one to talk to security. Of course, I didn't do that. Anyone else with AT&T???
I ALSO received a call..stating that my mastercard was deactivated and needed the card #..I didn't understand this..I had recently been on vacation and my Bank had notified the security office that if they had seen that my card was used..it was OK it was me...but now being home for a month I freaked...called my bank and of course its a SCAM..Wow what nerve of people..how does this get reported...?
Telephone call received on cell phone. Message indicated my debit card was suspended and I don't use a debit card. I hung up.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
