Poorly automated recording (female) says "Your NetSpend account has been locked. Press 1 to blah blah blah." I did not press 1.
Call at 3:30 pm on a Sunday regarding a blocked CITI card. I don't have a CITI card of any kind. Press one immediately. Hung up. Blocked the call.
Got call from this number at 03:45 woke me up. Same deal: "you account was been deactivated, press 1 to be connected to security dept" ...have no respond on my end it hung up. Blocking number on my phone.
It Time to start holding phone company responsible for these calls. because they are a part of the scam. [***], they have the power to shout down that number. but when they don't it makes they part of the crime.they are not innocent. it like a bank robber holding a gun in a bank.while the other bank robber keeps the car running.They both are a part of crime.
Got the same call. They left a 5 second blank message. Called back later and message said phone was disconnected
I just received a call from this number. It's 11:30pm! It said my account with a bank had been deactivated, and press 1 to reactivate. I figure I dont have any accounts in Florida, and if something was wrong with any bank accounts it'd be an actual person and during business hours lol, not the middle of the night.
Just got a call from this automated scam...saying my card is locked, press 1 to resolve. It is 1:23am! Good grief! Are people really gullible enough to wake up and divulge personal info to unknown people in FL in the middle of the night? Must be, otherwise they wouldn't be phishing at this hour! I hope this isn't a repeated event.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
