I just verified it and it is Bank of America. Call your bank and the will vefify it.

Just called a number from the bofa website and read them the number that contacted me and hey verified it was their fraud department.

The number 800-427-2449 is legit, and is from the fraud-watch department of Bank of America. They contacted me a few days ago regarding some suspicious activity on my BofA platinum Visa card. You can always first contact the number on the back of your credit card, to verify that the callback # is indeed their own company's fraud department; which is what I did, and it checked out OK. When the suspicious activity continued for a second day, BofA Fraud again asked me to return their call, but this time at a different number: 800-383-0618. This number turned out to be legit too, for BofA.

This is Bank of America fraud department. The message was to go to their website or call back. I accessed my account through the app I normally use and had to verify some of my purchases. If you dont trust the #, call the one on your card. If they are calling you, it's most likly because you're card may have been compromised.

Got call from them this morning and it was legit fraud activity report. They new my details and recent charges and only asked for zipcode. My card was indeed suspended and was used fradulantly.

Got a call from number above. Called it and would not give them enough information for them to help me. They Sounded legit! So I called number on back of credit card. There was Fraudulent Activity on my card. B of A told me the number 800-427-2449 is for real. Glad I called. I did however and recommend always calling the number given on the back of your credit card if your giving out Any information.

I got a call this morning (Sunday morning before 9am) from this number. I managed to get a customer service rep from B of A (hard to do on the automated system) and this is NOT THEIR NUMBER or associated with them.If you ever have unusual activity on your account, you may get a call, it may be from B of A, but this is not their fraud dept or associated with them. You can verify any new charges on the automated system to confirm that your card has been used recently.I have no new charges, there is no new account activity. I suspect the posts here saying it is a valid number are coming from the people phishing for the information. Do your own research.

It is valid. Just got a call from them right after i attempted a rather large airbnb transaction. Ignored it called number on back of card and they confirmed it is in fact bank of america fraud protection. But hey trust nobody call number on card if ir happens to you. It is pain free. Or log in online from your phone and call from the app. It is faster as they pull your info into the call.
