Like previous poster said...just call the number on your credit card and check the activity on your card. It was defintely worth it for us!!
Chase has the best customer service of any company I've ever dealt with. Got a message about fraudulent activity on my cc this morning. First I called that 800 number back. IT IS A LEGIT CHASE FRAUD DEPARTMENT CALL. They were very nice and helpful, asked me multiple choice security questions (so its clear they know the right answers) and canceled my card for me. Just to be sure, after I was done calling this number, I called the number on the back of my card. I talked to another incredibly nice representative who confirmed that I had cancelled my card and that calling back 800 454 9078 was the right thing to do. So either way, if you call back the automated number, or if you call the number on your card, youre in good hands with chase.
Indeed this is the Chase fraud dept. I called the number on the back of my card to verify. There were three fraudulent transactions.
This is a valid phone number. Chase caughtthe criminal usage of my charge account the same day and called me. Good job Chase.
Received 3 calls in two days on my answering machine. Call Chase on phone number on back of my card. Turned out the call was legit. Someone was trying to make a purchase for $2600 on my card. Chase caught it - payment was pending. So the @#$! scoundrels did not get away with it this time. Good work, Chase.
The number is valid. I called the number on the back of my card and gave them the reference number and they verified that there were suspicious charges on my account.
This number is legitimate and you should, at the *VERY LEAST*, call the number on the back of your Chase credit card and ask for the fraud department. Also, consider getting voicemail or an answering machine, they will leave a message.
Very Fishy!Recording says to enter your credit card. Legit? I do not know but why take the chance?!! DO NOT DO IT. Call Chase directly, that's my 2 cents
Legit. Don't ignore. I got a recorded msg from "Chase" about a charge made today. I called the number on the back of my card not the one the mesg included. There had been two small charge attempts from a company I'm unfamiliar with. Both under $100 dollars. They were not approved by Chase, thank goodness. My account has not been closed and a new one opened for me.
