This is a FRAUD. Received a call after getting a text from "Chase fraud protection" asking about using my card at a place. First, my card # was incorrect so I called Chase directly. They verified there was no fraudulent activity. Beware!
This is a valid call. I, for safety precautions, called the number on the back of my card. They knew exactly why I was calling immediately. My card had been breeched and someone in the Chicago area was on a shopping spree - not to mentioned had booked a nice vacation abroad. Call the number on the back of the card if in doubt.
Call the number in the back of your card, and verify anything from there. They know whether or not there is an issue with your card.
Yes, this is a good number for the Chase Fraud department. I called the number on the back of the Freedom card. They confirmed it was a good number for Chase Fraud Dept. I also found out that I had a fraudulent charge and my card was on hold.
Just called Chase customer service and was told they had no activity on my account. Avoid this number.
Message left from Chase fraud dept. Is fake.
Got a text about fraud with this number. I just dialed number on the back of my cars and they confirmed a fraudulent charge attempt. Canceled my card and got a new one shipped.
Maybe it was Chase, but the caller ID just said 800 Services. 800-935-9935 called on July 4, left urgent voice mail for a person I don't know about activity on a card I don't have. Claimed to be Chase Fraud Prevention Department. Asked me to call 800-454-9078 and have my credit card account number ready when I call. I bet. Let me get right to that!
Call from Chase at 11:36am CDT. I talked with agent about fraud claim. I will clarify the situation when my wife returns this afternoon. As I understand it, the card is on HOLD! Thank you.
Absolutely valid. Called the 800 number on my card instead and they confirmed they were trying to verify a charge I made in a different State less than a week ago.

Got a letter that said I applied for an AMAZON card. Called the number to inquire what this was for, they started asking for personal information. When I said no they hung up on me.

Scam debit collector. I say 'scam' because I don't have a credit card, loan, lease, tuition, or debit or any kind. I own my home, vehicle, and everything in them. There's not a single reason for a debit collector to be calling me.
Says it’s Amazon and charged my banking account fraudulently. Amazon has no record of my transaction.
