Added note: See my previous post. I did not call the number back directly but called the number on the back of my card and was redirected to Chase Fraud Department and they had indeed tried to make contact regarding several internet purchases I had made.

I don't know who is calling us, but I would like to know

this is a genuine call from chase fraud detection - they are following up having detected suspicious activity on your account - I didn't take the call but then called back chase on the number on the back of my card and they verified that this was an authentic call and not a phishing attempt.

Agree!, I called the chase number back of the card right away and they said there is no call made from chase at all. So this number is a SCAM!!

This is from Chase's security dept., checking on purchases that had been flagged as possible fraud.

They get a "reward" for opening a new card. Period. This is a fraud from the Philippine branch of Chase

This is pure and utter bs. Chase had to issue me a "new card" last year because of "fraud." Well, guess what? I have NEVER even taken my new card out of the envelope it came in. It has NEVER been activated, and now, one year later, I just got a call from the automated number and they say there is fraud again. How is that possible. They get a fee for sending out a new card. They must be hurting. Canceling card right now. Done with Chase.

I recieved a call from 800-454-9078 about possible fraud on a chase account, guess what dont have a chase account, so I just deleted the voice mail, so beware

This _might_ be a Chase fraud number, I'm not here to argue that, but I would like to point out that it's a better idea to call the # on the back of the card rather than calling numbers that were emailed to you. They can always put you in the right department.
