Annoying calls

They called my phone twice. It is a prisoner calling system. They want you to put money on their call "books" using your credit card so they can call people. Do not answer, ptrss any buttons or call the number back unless you want prisoners calling your phone.

Person called twice gives no name says someone from a correctional facility is trying to call. I dont know them Don't know anyone in prison and the number they dialed is non listed, not used for work, not used for anything other than a second emergency phone. It says my phone is not setup to accept charges and to call another number. SCAM. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY.

I know NO ONE in prison so this is definitely a scam

I put money on the phone every couple months. It's completely legitimate. My brother is in prison, and this is the prepaid system to pair money with your phone number to cover the cost of the inmate calling you.

And again, just because it was legit for YOU doesn't mean the call was legit for others. ANY NUMBER can be spoofed on a caller ID

So what if you missed the call twice, and decide to call it back. Will it let me know who did call me or is it too late? Also will it charge me if I call them?

These people call me 6 plus times a day. I don't know anyone who is in this place . please stop calling my phone..

Basically it's inmates calling random numbers hoping you won't pick up but then call back and find out who they are, which you have to buy a card to do. Then when you don't know them and file a complaint, they simply say they had the wrong number.

I keep receiving calls from this number. If you would say who is calling I may know who it is. Otherwise I do t know anyone who is in jail
