Constantly calling even when you tell them you dont have anything to work with. Always calling me at work and they need to stop.
They called and left a message saying they were Capital One Account Fraud dept. I don't even have a damn Capital One card!
Capitol One. I spoke to Customer Service after calling it back and the best they could tell me is 'maybe' it was a marketing call. After telling them my information was flagged for all fraudulent activity they said they could check and requested my SSN. I told them bluntly I was not giving that out over the phone. They said they could not pull up any information without my SSN. not even with my Address or Phone if I gave any of that to them.
It's capital one. DONT GET A CARD FROM THEM. They are in the process of ripping me off. They told me over the phone that we could settle my acount... I made the payments... Now they are denying ever settling and trying to make me pay more money. This company consists of liars.
This is allied interstate collection who answers now for Capital One, they have such prro customer service they do not even answer their own phones. I told them I wanted to pseak directly with Capital One and the lady got nasty with me after talking to her supervisor I finally got connected to Capital One.
Phone scammers can "spoof" caller-ID, making it appear to be, well, almost anyone and any number! I suspect that this is a scammer who has used Capital One's phone number to deceive the gullible into divulging personal info. Be careful.
My experience with this number is...... It was Capital One. It was their Fraud Department calling me wanting to make sure a purchase I made last night was legit....... It was a purchase that was different from my regular transactions with my Cap1 card and it was an online transaction.... Personally I didn't find this call to be harrassing at all! I appreciated that they called me to make sure it was a legit transaction because she told me that if it wasn't me they would NOT have let the transaction go through on my account.....So you might just want to call them back if you get this call you just never know......
I stopped making payments to Capital One, because of financial problems, in May. I had never been behind until then. My last payment was in April. I have e-mailed them, written to them explaining the situaiton. They have now called me OVER 1000 times. I never pick up. Sometimes, 'LINDA' leaves a message. They call me up to 10 times a day, even early on a Sunday morning. 1000 times. What a losing company!
A man in an Indiana accident called about lowering my credit I could not really understand him he of course it sounded like after I tried to ask him to repeat it and before he hung up he said I was going to regret this and hung up!!! He harassed me with a short phone number calling me very bad names etc I don’t even use this bank
CONSTANT CALLS TO SAY I OWE MONEY, I HAVE BEEN IN THERE PAYMENT PROTECTION PLAN FOR MONTHS EVEN HAVE THE STATEMENTS TO PROVE WHERE THE PAYMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE. CANT WAIT UNTIL I CAN GET RID OF THEM. IF THEY KEEP CALLING I WILL HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO SUE FOR HARASSMENT AND UNDO STRESS THIS IS CAUSING ME.. MAYBE IF THEY HIRED PEOPLE THAT UNDERSTOOD ENGLISH AND UNDERSTOOD THE COMPANIES OWN POLICIES THEN THIS WOULD NOT HAPPENED. THREATS WELL THEY DON'T SCARE ME I HAVE PROOF AND THE LAW IS ON MY SIDE.
