This is a scam, It is NOT CapitalOne. CapitalOne would not ask for your account number and you should NEVER give out your account number to anyone.

I just got called also. They had enough of my card information for me to report fraud and request a new card.

I was called and told it was my last chance to lower my credit card interest. I was told to press a number (I thought it was 2 but I could be wrong) to say you don't want it. I was connected to a person. I kept pressing numbers and the person hung up on me. I don't remember who they were.

THIS IS NOT CAPITOL ONE. I CHECKED THE BACK OF MY CARD!

March 29, 2018, 1:14 PM - credit card interest rate robocall from "Capital One 800-903-3637" to my number on the DNC list. Familiar prerecorded message in a woman's voice that I have definitely heard before:"This is an important message regarding your current credit card account. We have made several attempts to reach you. This is your final courtesy call before we are unable to lower your credit card interest rate. Press 1 to speak to the member services department, or press 2, and your eligibility to lower your rate will expire."

They call ed and left no VM. Possible scammer or telemarketer.

Just received a phone call from a guy with a strong foreign accent, telling me I can lower my interest rate for credit cards?? told him I didnt need it and he asked me "WHY"?? I told him to lose my number and he again, asked "WHY' He said he can't and I told him I was going to report him the the Attorney Genral as I had his phone number and he told me to F#*!k Off, LOL..Such losers...

if this is a legit capitol one number as the caller id read then someone has hacked their number because the call i got was a scam about lowering credit card interest rates.

Caller id was Capitol One. Since I don’t have an account with them, I answered the phone only to be greeted by “Jennifer” telling me that she can lower the interest rate on my credit card account. All I had to do was press 1 to speak with an “agent” or 2 to be removed from the list and continue to receive high interest rates on my credit card. I just hung up the phone and blocked the number.

called and left no message. If like others saying it's capital one, then you be assured its a scam since I have nothing to do with them either.
