SCAMMERS/SPAMMERS watch out!The closest thing you get to a company name from them is "Card Member services" they say they work for Experian - LIE!They claim they can get you to reduce your CC interest rates below 6% - LIE!They say the service is free - LIE!In the end, they try to twist your arm into transferring card balances to a card with them with 0% interest forever (supposedly) with $0 fees. One more thing - they say "you'll save X amount of dollars by consolidating" but then they try to say in passing that a percentage of that "savings" will be added to your total balance - CATCH!When I tried to tell them the service wasn't for me and thanks anyway the caller tried belittling me and tried talking over me to say my application was submitted and I should be receiving my card in the mail. I told them I never approved the application, I was told by the caller in a devious, taunting tone "Well I don't need your approval, I can do what I want and it has been submitted" and he actually laughed. I told him I recorded the call (which I did thank god) and told him I would sue them, submitting my application without my consent is illegal and considered fraud. He didn't care.In the end, I winded up hanging up on him and called my CC companies and reported my cards as stolen and had them replaced.Don't trust them, they are liars and they aren't even from our country. They do not work for Experian or Capital One or ANY company for that matter. The service they're offering isn't a bad one for ppl in bad debt that need help BUT they are going about it all wrong! I spoke to 3 reps and they all lied and aren't professional. The call kind of reminded me of the movie "Boiler Room" lol.To be honest, wven if I was in bad debt, I wouldn't trust this company.
I got a call from this number a few minutes ago. They let it ring 4 or 5 things and then hung up and left no message. I have read other comments saying it is Capital One credit card. I don’t have a Capital One credit card. I applied for one when I got a divorce about 6 years ago, they turned me down. I got several other major credit cards with no problem, so I never tried to get a Capital One card after that. However, they have sent me a letter every month ever since I applied trying to get me to apply for one of their cards. Go figure...that makes no sense. I throw them away. I don’t need their dumb card. Can’t imagine why they would be calling me. I’m blocking them. I hate to get unsolicited phone calls. I get several every day.
800-903-3637 typical card member services scam. When the heavily accented Indian came on the line he started out with "your card number?" I asked if he really thought I was stupid enough to give him that information and since he was from "my" card member services he should have that info. Then told him what I thought of him. He pushed alot of buttons to t dry to drown me out so I hung up. THEN I get multiple calls from 650-8016, notice no area code. He has somehow managed to connect me with all the other people telling him to stick it. I auto rejected that number on my cell and laughed that he thought he could get the upper hand. Jackazz.
I got a call from this number, and the person did the typical scammer call methods; nothing they said made sense, talked fast, and they hung up on me. LOL So I called the number back and was able to get through to a real person who actually worked at Capital One. He said to report the call to their fraud email address, and he gave me his name, and employee ID. I googled the email address, and it came up on Capital One's website.I sent an email to them about 20 minutes ago. From the sounds of it, it seems to be a Capital One number that [***] employee use to scam people.
Caller ID stated: Unknown, 4:36PM, 11/1/17, 800-903-3637. Like I would ever pick up a call from "Unknown". They didn't leave a message and I would not have given them any info anyway.
If it is Capital One credit card department, why are they calling my number? I don't have a credit card with them, and I've had this phone number for over 25 years.
Received two calls back to back, both hung up before I could answer. No message left. If this is Capital One, I would think they would leave a message...
