They're trying to get you to open a remote desktop connection. Woulda had ya input an ip, open a port, had you give permissions, then, whilst in your system, probably also dropped a key logger while they were in so they can keep track of what you type, passwords, Credit, SocSec, etc. If you have the time and spare old laptop (Preferably recently formatted Hdd with a fresh Os install and absolutely no personal info) you don't use (I'm going to attempt this next time) turn windows def. and all A-Virus off, open a port in your router specific to that laptops traffic so as to isolate it from the rest of your network, and let that [***] in. It's a 2-way street, he's in yours, but you also have access to his you can find all kinds of fun ways to play with people like this, look in geek/nerd/programmer forums, you'll be ale to find keyloggers, trojans, and other frowned upon, but not quite illegal things to really screw with them, if you're lucky you may end up getting their network good enough to crash it.

The phone cannot enforce bills from these scammers. My son in law got a phone bill for about 1500 dollars fromthe phone company, found out that a neighbor had somehow tapped into his phone line. Neighbor was calling900 numbers for sex. It was determined that the phone company could not charge my son in law for the calls.

I a call from him he said how are you doing i said i'm sick with a cold my wife has been on her period for 3 days and i have not had sex my dog bite me, he hung up on me. I knew it was a scam i have heard that voice before.

Caller had Indian accent and said was from Geek squad to report that they have received error reports from my computer. I asked him how he got my cell phone number and he hung up. Definitely a scam.

Cheryl, the Do Not Call List is a joke! I have reported numerous phone numbers to the do not call list and I still seem to get more calls after I went on the do not call list. The folks at "Do Not Call" send these people who call us the numbers of all of us on the do not call list. Guess what the crooks do with those numbers?????

Some Indian dude mumbling about "we believe your internet has been compromised". Pretty poorly done. Even for a scammer.Just for fun, I asked who he was with and he started mumbling again.

Heavy east Indian accent. Sounded like a computer repair scam. I hung up.

The guy said they were an awareness group to inform me that our computer had been compromised due to a breach in the security of our internet. He said it would not cost me anything. He just needed to remote into my computer to fix the issue. I told him he was an idiot if he thought I would let him remote into my computer. He hung up when I told him this.
