Got a call just now. Heavy heavy accent. He asked if I own a computer and said something about being with windows. Then I hung up and found this page based on the number

Interesting that someone mentioned Best Buy's Geek Squad. While I haven't used them, I did reactivate my BB rewards acct and bought something 2 ago and now this call. Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

I answered. A man named Ricky said that he was calling to fix my computer. I told him that I didn't have a computer and he said good-bye. At least he was polite.This is an obvious scam. Block the number if you can.

I got a call on my cell from this number. The person had a strong accent and I couldn't understand them very well. He said my firewall had been compromised. I asked him how he got my cell number. He said that I was registered with "Windows". I told him that I didn't have a firewall. When he kept going I told him that I had given my computer away. He hung up on me then.

Got a call from them on my cell phone. Couldnt understand what he was saying until he slowed down his talking and cleaned up his accent... but he sounded out of breath. Lots of background noise. He claimed he was calling about my pc.. when i said, "what about it?" He hung up.

Received a call from this number. There was noise, voices in the back ground but, no one responded when I answered the phone call.

I just got a call from this number. After a few seconds where there didn't seem to be anyone on the line, a woman who sounded like she was from India or Pakistan said that my computer was sending out an error message and she was ready to help me. (I am at work and answered my cell phone, so it's an obvious scam, not to mention a ridiculous story.) I just hung up.

Just got a call from these people. Woman stated she was from Geek Squad (or something along those lines) and that my computer was "reporting Trojans" and she would help me fix it. I asked her to restate (heavily accented English) why she was calling and how she got my number. She stated that my number came up because I'm a registered Windows subscriber and my computer was reporting Trojans and malicious threats from the internet. I said I wasn't registered with anything and asked again how she got my number (it's my cell phone), and she said "Oh, ok..." and hung up.

Just got a call on my work phone. The guy on the other end claimed to be from 'PC Solutions' and that he had just been alerted that my PC had been compromised by a virus. I kept him on the line while I googled the number. When I realized it was a scam and told him to put me on their do not call list he hung up.
