Martin Garcia in caller ID...no one answered...this was on my home phone later on it was on my cell.definitely a scam call I believe after reading the comments from others.
I got a call from this number today on my cell phone from Hartford CT , a man with a thick eastern accent wanting to know if my computer is alright because it was reported that someone was trying to hack my computer and gave it multiple viruses a couple of weeks ago. I told him there is nothing wrong with my computer and asked him how he got my cell phone number, and the hung up on me.
called my cell phone! said he was calling about my computer. told him to take my number off the list. And I'm on the do not call list!
Just got a call from this number saying that I had some malicious emails coming from my computer, immediately called him out on it. He claimed that he was with a company called "tech support" when I asked for his website it was www.?.com I asked him how he would know that my computer was emitting any emails unless he had my IP address, I asked him for my IP address, which he didn't have... Somehow some bloatware on my PC is transmitting data to these bafoons, I will be doing a full wipe today after I figure out which program is transmitting my information. Another hypothesis is that somehow this is related to Best Buy as many people have been associated with Geek Squad when called by these idiots. It is possible that there was a data breach with Best Buy and they got a rewards list or something, I am a part of their rewards so it's plausible.If I find out any information on who is doing this, I will be suing them immediately.
They called my daughter at school and she sent me the number when i called it it said the number was no longer in service pls check ur number and dail again she is blocking the number
