The name that appeared on by phone was Martin F.Garcia. A young Asian/Hispanic Lady said she was calling from Geek Technical Support and was call about my computer. I immediately interrupted her and told her I didn't call the,don't have a problem with my computer, and she shouldn't call me unless I called her first, then hung up before she could respond.
Just got a call from this number claiming that my computer was infected with viruses. I told him BS.....that I'm not falling for his crap and if he knew better he would NEVER call my number again. He hung up on me!
I said "hello," and took several seconds before I heard: "Hi, this is Sarah from Geek Support." (she had a very strong accent) I told her she had the wrong #, and I hung-up. Definitely a scam because I have not contacted anyone about any issues with my electronic devices.
Called all worried about my computer and the virus it is spreading, in the UK, really? She did not speak good English and very annoying. This is not the first call I have received from these scammers, but hope it is the last. What ever happened to the DO NOT CALL list, is that broken too? Great!
Eastern sounding man wanted to fix my computer. When called out about the obvious scam he became threatening, rambled on with anti-American slurs and threatened to nuke my entire family. A good rule of thumb to remember is that nuclear threats and anti-America sentiments typically verify a scam. A real Geek Squad representative would probably never do that.
Caller ID said Martin Garcia, but no one there when I answered. Just another spammer who can't get a job wanting to waste my tie.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
