LIAR where do you get your information from?I got a call last night, that I should search at 3;15 am for a child that was not missing.who runs 866-419-5000?
It is a CodeRed system used in most town & cities to notify people of an emergency such as Amber Alert, school emergency etc. The system calls to update the numbers to make sure they are numbers still in service.
Received a call from 866-419-5000 at 6:10 am. No message was left. Not sure why we are receiving a call from a number of this sort at 6 am.
Called several times in a row. I did not answer, they did not leave a message on my voice mail.
repeated phone calls at odd hours, claiming to be from Dodge county sheriff's department about a missing 8 yr old boy...........2 the first day, 3/31; at 3 am and 7:30 am; and 4/1 3 calls at 7:30 am and a 4th at 7:41 supposedly claiming the child has been found.........purely harrassing. And I am on the do not call lists!
Received a recorded message about a boil order in effect for some county. I couldn't make out the name of the county, but living in Louisiana, we don't have any counties. On top of that, I've never signed up for any kind of alert for anything like that. Doesn't seem legit to me.
I received 3 calls within four minutes of each other. I searched the number (1-866-419-5000) on the web and found out it is an Emergency call system (CodeRED)used by Police and other Public Safety Organizations. There was a message left in our answering machine looking for a missing 61-year old woman in our neighborhood.
