Mr. Okada, Haverhill is a scam, no doubt about it. It's a total disgrace and we will report you to the media. Your test has no value on the capability of becoming a Stager or a re-designer. Your questions are NOT questions but 40% are sentences from books with missing words that we have to guess. We understand that you do this to have your students’ fail, so Haverhill doesn’t have to hire them or refund the course. That is FRAUDE. In the test, you put sentences without the subject and missing words. It is not possible to remember all complete exact sentences from all books and fill up the blanks. Below is a sentence from your test with the missing words in UPERCASE.When the household is MOVING it is so beneficial to have a good PROFESSIONAL, who is an EXPERT in DE-CLUTTERING.And it was 4 points. This is ridiculous. In addition, the fact that you grade and put only remarks on our test link without providing the test back to the student, demonstrate a lack of credibility for Haverhill.

i apologize linda. i was just upset that you are saying a class action suit would not work with haverhill. it will. and it would not be to change the grades or the grading system, but to get us our refunds.this course promises to teach and if you have taken it, then you will know the truth. when you take the test, there are questions on the test that were not in the book. the tele-class didn't provide that info either. there are also other stipulations in their terms and conditions that they did not follow. it's printed. i was missing something from my box of materials, and when i asked about it, was told i would get it when i attended the class. but that did not happen. i never got the item that was missing. i am not just fighting for me, but for everyone who paid for this course but failed to make the grade because they did not have enough knowledge to pass. i did pass the course, i do have my certificate, but i did not get 80%. why, because i did not learn what i needed to know to pass. i find it hard to fathom this since i was an honour student in a dental program in a real college. i was on the dean's list both semesters. this is what i am fighting for. why can't i see my test results? because....they don't do that. why? they don't say why. but it makes one wonder.why don't they respond to their students? why don't they respond to the BBB complaints? why didn't they tell me i was no longer a student - i found out when i was served with court papers for them to sue me. there are most unanswered questions that i can give you, but that's not why i am here. there is one thing i can say, the person that mailed her stuff to portland, there was an update on their bulletin about that some time ago. haverhill clearly states to check it often, and you do get emails notifying you there is a bulletin or a news update.so, i can understand somewhat. if there were several other students who did the same thing, it might be different, but, this seems to be a one off case, so, i truly think she is out of luck on that issue.other issues however, are still worth fighting for.

I am feeling a little un easy every time I go on the web site the site has been updated new info ,new rules now no in-class in Montreal only tele class and the term and conditions always changing ...printed them out a week before paying for the course now they have changed again in the last two months the have changed the site 3 times pay has also changed ...To get a job you must live in the area all the area's it showed on site before with times of in class schedule .they are no longer there ...only showing Toronto so now that the course 2 month period is over tuesday ...Montreal address does not appear before it said the new graduates, Jacueline forde /Ajax ontario..Nadia Fezzani /Montreal ,Quebec now that is gone just there names appear... do all these changes make you a little nerves it does for me at this point I am not sure but I think we may just lose our money....

I just sent this to Mr. Okada. I will also ask for a refund.Mr. Okada, Haverhill is a scam, no doubt about it. It's a total disgrace and we will report you to the media. Hi Fripouille,Nice to hear from you.I sympathise with you, but I'm not sure you (or anyone else) can claim that the reason you didnt pass the test was because they didnt teach you anything.Schools dont make you learn, they just provide the tools and materials. its up to the student to do the learning. there's never any obligation to ask test questions that can be found in the book. sometimes test questions need to be challenging and make the student apply logic and common sense. my sister in law is a teacher so i know.I did take the course and received 72%. I asked to go over my test and although it took 3 weeks, they did go over it with me on the phone. I'm going to re-write it although i was told the next time i write it the questions can be different. To be honest, i dont doubt the mark i received but was hoping i would have done better. the problem for me was that i read the book, then by the time i took the test it was 2 months later and i probably should have read it again but didnt. i think there should be 2 tests. one after you read the book and another after you complete the exercies and each test should be about the thing just completed so its fresh. If you are talking about the tape measure, i didnt get one either but i did get a cheque for $3.50 as a refund to go buy one. it would have been nice to get one but they said they ran out or something like that.do you remember the question that wasnt in the book? maybe its one of the ones that stumped me. let me know if you remember because im going to redo the test soon. Thanks!

Dear Kim,Don't hold your breadth waiting for a response from these people. It was been one bad experience after another with Haverhill. I am professional in every way in any business I have been in. But these people have brought out the worst in me. I almost don't recognize myself and how low I have to go when I do get a chance to communicate with them. But you know what they say, we must be flexible. If we are treated badly, then we have to take some kind of action. It would be great to be able to organize a class action suit against them but we all don't know each other so that might be an impossibility. However, I am about to call the better business bureau to find out how they can help me. I hope all of you try the same. And I will find out about radio or TV. stations who can take up this cause.

There may have been a posting on their message board, but their Terms, Conditions and Policies (which I have printed out) as of last week still says for US students to mail to the Portland, Oregon location. This is the info I checked before mailing. If they changed locations, they should have changed their Terms. I'm not really interested in a Contractor position. I need to work full time, not occasionally. Their guarantee was for full or part time, not as needed.Linda, How do I contact their Dispute Resolution Committee?
