Just received 2 calls from 941-961-8518. When I answered I could not understand the person. So I called back and according to Verizon the phone # has been disconnected. I received these once before and had a friend call back (attorney) and asked to fax him info. They hung up on him.

They say they are from a law firm and wanted to speak with me, as I could hear them talking to my fiance. It was an Arabian/Indian sounding voice. It said "Florida Call" on my caller ID. They mispronounced my name. When asked, they said "the law firm" but gave no specific name. He wouldn't say what law firm, said that it was a private matter. I called it back, and it said thank you for calling Verizon Wireless and that the number has been changed, disconnected, or is out of service.

Also, the first number they called from was 810676161, which is short a digit and usually indicates an out-of-country number. They told me to call back at 8582254842.

My caller ID shows this number but the caller, Elvis somebody instructs me or my attorney to call back at 818-338-5053. I googled that number and get the same info that i get in this number. There is alot of background noise with this call so it is very difficult to hear.

I posted something on one of the other pages. I wanted to add that I filed a complaint with my Attorney General and the FTC, who took the info and told me to contact any of the credit reporting agencies and put a freeze on my ssn.

They will call you until you give them what they want! Here are other number's they call from/or ask you to call 818-338-5069, 818-338-5053, 949-468-5106. It's a scam and they do have your information, so close your bank account and contact your local police and FBI

They keep calling and left a voicemail with the number 415-200-0263, and it ended up being a fax. They mispronounced my name again and wished me peace and luck in the courthouse. They also called my mother, and it sounded like the same damn idiot. He said his name was Vitor and then (illegible) and then Gibson. He told me to call back the second I got the message, but wow... Nothing. Funny thing is, the call number was S.W. Florida and the number they gave me to call back was a San Francisco number.I reported to Secret Service, FBI, my Attorney General, and to FTC. I have yet to make a local report... I am a single mother of four working two busy full-time jobs and in college and am almost broke. this is ridiculous. Earlier in April (April 6, 2009), someone called my mother and I pretending to be a private investigator and said that they had all this info, and I honestly thought my ex had made some debt because he had done this sort of thing to me. They asked for $750, and I said I did not have it. I paid $200, and I reported this to the above mentioned authorities, as well. They had previous and current addresses, numbers, cosigners for various things, my children's names, my social security number, the high school I went to, family names, etc. I thought they were legitimate, and they were giving me my date of birth and where I was born and naming off dates that matched with when my ex was trying to screw me over. I realized something was fishy whenever I never received a receipt via email or direct mail as promised for what I paid. I called this person and got transferred to the "appropriate" officer... and this man spoke like an American, out of New York. The debit came from Empire Check Services, and the number was 716-826-2928. I can't recall the name, thought I saved it, but have not located it yet... He was polite and acted courteous and was being very smooth-talking about scam artists, etc. I was very hesitant until he started playing the "empathy" card and wanting to talk to me as if he cares of my financial situation and wanted to get me a deal. He said they would settle for $225 and no less and that they would not seek a civil suit or take me to court with this payment. Just a heads up! These same people are calling my mother asking for me, as well. I am tired of this, and I am not someone who gets taken advantage of very easy. Same as all the other callers before...said i owed a large sum of money something like 5000 from a loan company....i had to laugh, im a laid off single mother yeah some loan company is gonna give me 5grand. but what is so disburing is that they do have all your information....how are they getting this? and how can it be stopped? wht do we all have in common?

I just received 4 calls in a row. Instead of answering, I immediately looked up the number on the net because I assumed it was some sort of scam or something. When I checked the messages there's a lot of background noise and some man with such a thick Indian accent that I can't even understand him. LOL

my calls started 07/09/2009 from this number and 4152000265 and 4152000259stateing that i was going to jail for money landering and check fraud they called my job and said all his to my employer, i called back and ask if i cold order a pizza and they said yes with a credit cardand on 07/10/2009 i recieved a terrible message on my anwsering machine at work from jacob morris with a law firm this is all trash laugh at them if you get this call
