These people called me yesterday at work and got me in ALOT of trouble... told me I had a court date today... They have called again 3 times today in the last hour... getting mad and have called my attorney and she said there is nothing I can do other than file a complaint with the better business bureau and the police... thanks to everyone who helped me figure out this was a SCAM!!!

THEY SOUNDED INDIAN AND CALLED REGUARDING SOMETHING I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND. I WAS GIVEN A # TO CALL BACK ON AND IT IS (818)451-4026 THEY ARE A SCAM I CALLED BACK REFUSED TO GIVE ANY INFO AND TOLD THEM THEY WERE A SCAM AND THEY HUNG UP ON ME.....THE # ON MY CALLER ID IS 941-961-8518 HE ANSWERED AS JEFF

Called my husband at work, left a message. Called back and spoke with his boss, who told them not to call back. Left a message on our answering machine at home, telling us to call back the second we received the message or we be in trouble. They said if they didn't hear from us, they were sorry for the situation that will unfold on us!!!!

I started getting calls yesterday around 3pm PST. I called this # back and it was disconnected. Then, right after, my work phone rang and it was the same people. Some heavy accented Indian man said that I owed a lot of money and that I better pay or else. So, I called my uncle whose a cop, reported this jerk and then reported it to the CIA. I am not going to stand for this. These people have nothing better to do than try and scam money from hard working people. They know that this is a tough economy and they are using it to their advantage. Chances are, the people they call DO owe money b/c let's face it, a lot of us are in debt due to the recession. So it makes us think that this might be legit. But it's not.

i recieve a call from this number for the third time at 9:47 am this morning 07/16/2009 i thought it was disconnected but they called from it today pretending to be a law firm i called it back and it sai it was disconnected a huge scam todaY HI NAME WAS CHUCK.... A WEEK AGO HE WAS JACOB MORRIS reprt calls from this number and hang up instNTLY.......

i receieved a phone call from this number claiming that i owe over 1,000$ to a company called cashnet.com.. i have never placed a loan through this company and have been freaked out about this ever since the first phone callon monday this week stating that if i did not pay then officers would be coming to my home to arrest me and hold me in jail until my court date on thurs (today)... also there have been unauthorized transactions placed on my debit card im guessing with this same company.. do not fall for it do not pay it is all a scam!!!! plus i bekieve that i am a victim of id theft...

I received a phone call from this same male with an extremely thick Indian accent and noisy background. He has left messages on my cell phone and my work phone. I have ignored the calls and reported the number and the caller to the FTC.

Got the call today coincidently after disputing an amount owed to a payday lender. Ignored it then sent the following message to the NYS AG, FBI, FTC, and local police.I received a voice mail message from a man claiming to be a lawyer who stated that I owed money on a loan that I am current on and have never missed a payment. He said I needed to call immediately to avoid arrest. He left a callback number of 818-451-4026 and called from the wireless number 941-961-8518. This call came almost immediately after I threatened legal action against Southern Financial Loan company (phone #'s 866-265-6269 and 866-303-2828).

I just receive several calls back to back from the 941-961-8518 number. They had all of my information and they told me that I will be arrested tomorrow for a debt that I don't owe. I told them that I am going to sue the Hell out of them if they come upon my property. I contacted the Secret service as well and I will be filing a complaint with the police department later today.

After reading other blogs, I also have gotten called by Jessie Hill, James, and Sarah who state they are representatives of CashNet Pay Day Loans. Other numbers they called from or referred us to 912-330-4141 and 213-805-2213, which are also scam numbers. The 213# is suppose to be for a Ryan Crews in California. They had a lot of our personal information but did not provide any details. They stated loan taken in August 2008 to a bank account that wasn't even opened until November 2008.
