Received call from a "Indian" sounding fellow. He called me bymyr last name and told me he was from The Microsoft Service Center and that I should troubleshoot a reported problem by simultaneously pressing the "Microsoft Flags" and "R" keys and typing a program name into the window that appeared. Before I did this, I asked for his name and phone number so that I could verify his claim. He immediately hung up.

I just received a call from a man with a heavy Indian accent saying he was with Microsoft and wanted to access my computer. When I told him I wasn't in a position to do that, he hung up on me.

likely they are using a predictive dialer. just add one to the phone number they have and get the next number

I received a call this today at 9:54 am. I didn't answer. I don't answer when I don't recognize the number.

I let all calls from area code I don't know. If it is a valid call, they'll leave a message. 99.9% hang up without listening to the first few words of the message. I get several every week.

Just got the same call, he knew my husbands' name, very difficult to understand. I thought the accent was more Asian but he said he was from Microsoft Technical Dept. My son works for Microsoft and I knew this was fishy. It registered on caller ID as an unknown wireless caller. I hung up on him.

Same call from Microsoft Tech support. Kept this Bozo on the phone for 20 minutes pretending to not know how to use my computer. I asked where is the virus and he said in his thick Indian accent, on your computer and he proceeded to tell me where to look. I pretented to fumble through it then I told I was not going to pay for virus removal and he said why and I said I have an Apple. He hung up.

i got call from this #. the person said he is from microsoft and there is virus on my computer. when i asked who is this he started cursing me like any thing and hang up. this was a scammer.

Caller with Indian accent called,I asked if I had called him.He said yes and he was calling back.I advised that he was a lair and hung up.Selling MS windows.288-918-6555 - ID not found

The same here... I started to laugh... as he said I had virus on my computer I told him that Tux rules in this household... he called me b***h. LOL... love these guys.
