I received a call in May 2013 from these apes. The guy told me he was calling from offiece support desk. It sounded fishy right away. I let him go on a bit and when he informed me I had a virus on my computer I asked him how he could know that. He said "well this is office support desk" in a south asian accent. Yeah right! I told him where to go and hung up. This morning, Nov 27, I got a call with a weird caller ID M1271912260008 plus the number 1 288 9186555. The same thing. When the guy identified himself as from office support desk i told him right away what a piece of **** I thought he was and hung up...A couple of seconds later he called back and called me a son of a ****. I told him off and hung up.....Unbelievable!

I just received a phone call from 278-567-1205 supposedly from Windows and they wanted me to type in EVENTVWR since they were receiving error messages from my computer. The lady told me her phone number was 608-285-9575. I told her that I check them out on the internet and she was a scam. She hung up!

Called my office. Said they were getting an error message and was trying to get me to type in an email address. As soon as he found out he called a company he hung up. He said he was from Microsoft.

I try to call back as anon to see what happens and it says it doesnt exist. This number can only be reached as dialed.

i have no money to fix my pc to work right and that is how it is and some have said it was free but is not just to put the softwardon her just to make my pc get real bad I would like the sick ones the pary on the ones who need help to stop it

Gentleman with heavy Indian accent knew my name and said he was from "New York." Not likely, any of it. Crude attempt to get info.

Received call from a man with very heavy African type accent calling from "Windows Microsoft" telling me there was a virus reporting from my IP address. Sounded like someone wanting to hack my machine.

You are correct. Just hang up on them if they call again. They are scammers wanting to get into your files for a phishing expedition.

I just now got the call from, apparently, the same guy. He said this was a call from Microsoft regarding Wiondows. He told me that my computer had downloaded some bad files from the internet and if I would turn my computer on he would help me get rid of those files.I told him that this sounded likr e phisy call and that I was going to hang up and call someone about him.

Also got a call from this number. India accent, claimed computer was reporting problems. Said he was with Microsoft and could fix problems and speed upthe computer. Wanted access to my computer to find and fix errors. I called the number back and a recording said the number was not in service. That was followed by a busy signal and what sounded like a hangup.
