Again, I don't know where you got your information. BoA says that 3027311166 is NOT A LEGITIMATE NUMBER.
got a call on my cell from this number, I didn't answer because I couldn't identify the caller, then thought to Google the number. Thanks for having these posts.
This is Bank of America Fraud Alert Department. They called me first on my work number and then on my cell phone. There was a charge at a hotel in Kentucky and they were calling to verify if it was me making the charge, which it was not. They are issuing me new cards. Call the number on the back of your card if you are wary of calling this one; I did.
Yep, same thing happened with me. It's Bank of America, my credit card got flagged because someone mis-typed the exp date.
302-731-1166 IS NOT A LEGITIMATE NUMBER. DON'T CALL. CALL BoA AND REPORT THIS FRAUD. CHECK YOUR ACCOUNTS AND
They called twice today, but i do not answer phone numbers that i do not know. They have not left any messages. i looked it up and found this site. thanks for all of those of you who have posted. I however do not have a BofA account, or at least i didn't open one. I have a NFCU account. I will go into my local BofA and check to make sure. Maybe i'll answer next time, but i plan on not giving one piece of information.
I received two calls from this number exactly 3 hours apart. The first one was at 6 am since I live on the west coast. I didn't answer them but pulled up the number here. I called BofA with the number on back of my car. It was their fraud department checking on an Internet transaction I made at 8 pm the night before. I do appreciate the call, but 6am was a bit early.
I also received calls from this number (302-731-1166)and after reading this message board I called BOA's 1-800-383-0618 # to find out there was fradulent activity on my credit card. They were very helpful in reversing the charges.
