I also got the call ...I thought it was fraud until I logged into my account and saw that oneof my cards had a charge for bus fare in ENGLAND!BOA cancelled the card and sent me a new one. I have no ideal how my info was compromisedDo not ignore this call..check with your bank thru a secure link
This is legit. Do not call that number. Instead, call the cust. service number on the back of the card.
this is a call from BOA about a charge that they flagged as potentially suspicious. You should call number on the back of your card and ask to speak with the fraud services as you are "returning" their call.I joined on on-line dating service and like 10 minutes later this number called me. I was in the bathroom and figured I'd call back whoever it was but the number was always busy. Googling it led me here and I called the Boa credit card phone number on the back of my card. Eventually I spoke to the fraud people and they just cleared the charge.
I got a phone call from this number, this morning. They didn't leave a voice mail or answer when I called back. I checked the Bank of America website and sure enough my cc account was flagged (for fraudulent purchases).
I received a call today from 302-731-1166. They did not leave a message, but after reading these posts, I called the number on the back of my Bank of America CC to see if they had called me. They said they had not and that fraud calls had been coming from a 302 number. The odd thing is, I had just made an online purchase with this CC just minutes earlier.
got a call from (302) 731-1166 checked the internet as i always to and found it's probably a fraudulent number
I got a call from Bank of America. "Card Service" was on my caller ID. They asked my personal information: SS number and card number but I didn’t give them this information
This is a legitimate number. They were calling to verify an international charge on my B of A Visa. They didn't need my credit card number or SS# to pull up the account -- just asked my security question, phone number, email and date of birth.Card Services is the name of a company that handles billing, etc. for a lot of credit card companies. When I had a Wells Fargo Visa, my payments were made out to Card Services.
I got a call from this number and because of these postings called BofA to see what the deal was. There were two fraudulant charges on my account from the beginning of the weekend. Thanks for the warning - I would call if you get a call from this number!
