We have received calls from that number with the CID Murphy Amy on 11/19, 11/21, & 11/22 but no msg left. It was at 8:19 am on the 21st, and we just happened to be at a doctor's appt. Usually we sleep late, so an early morning call like that would really be upsetting to us. We're old retired folks. We've received the Windows computer scam many times over the last several years, but only spoke to the person once. Then it was a man with a heavy Indian accent who likes to argue. I called him a liar and I knew it was a scam and hung up on him. Glad I checked this site to find out who and where the calls came from.

This number called my home and asked for my fiance, who by the way doesn't own a computer. Said that there was make are and a virus. I responded with there are no computers in the home to which there was no reply. They hung up.

Said my computer was sending them errors. I responded by saying that if they'd stop trying to have inappropriate relations with my computer then they wouldn't be getting errors from it. They hung up :-)

Called at 8:30 A.M. Caller I.D. reads Amy Murphy. Calling about my computer. I said, "The one I took to the repair shop yesterday?" Silence, then, "When will you be getting it back?" I said, "When it's fixed." She hung up. Of course I knew it was a scam I didn't take the computer to the repair shop, but I thought it would be fun to hear her reply. So many lazy people who won't work for a living!

These ppl allied and said to turn on my computer

Claims to be from Windows technical support. Obvious scammer. I don't have any windows machines.

This idiot call telling about virus. I told him that I already got all my computers vaccinated.He hang up.

SCAM !!! Tech support. Called 10:45 AM. Tells me my computer has been downloading malware and viruses for a few days and if I log on they will walk me through and show me how to fix it. RIGHT. Young girl with hard to understand accent.

Call Center someplace in India: "Hello my name is Sanda from Micro...."ME: (interrupting) "Oh Really, the CID says AMY. Go to hell" - CLICK

She is real good ,she called at 7:30 AM while my pc was shut down for a couple of days.
