National Credit Services has lost my business over $16.73 (interest) - which by the way, their frontline people are capable of removing. My short story is that a leather chair was charged by Macy’s Furniture to a “closed" account, I made the payment and even with the closed account number, the payment rolled over to the active account AND they were thinking that I needed to pay them a late fee and interest. It took six calls to get the interest removed and roll the payment over to “closed” account... only about three calls to have the late fee removed; my point is, don’t believe anything that the frontline person tells you, i.e. you can’t talk to her supervisor, nor that they can’t remove either interest or late fees (turns out that both of these decisions can be made by the person talking to you). I asked to close “both” account - the active and the “closed” account. I was told that I could “never” open an account with them again if I closed my active account... I asked what other retails they provide credit services - Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s; I told them that I never want to deal with this corporation, nor their automated computers, nor their non-thinking operators. I may have been a glitch in their system, but I didn’t create the situation and they certainly were not gracious in clearing up the problem. They have impacted my credit rating, thus, I am taking them to small claims in order to make an issue over this whole scenario. By the way, they are still calling me over my balance due on the account that I just closed :-) it’s not “due” until the end of this month, yet they still call... If I could just get down to someone in Macy’s Corp, after looking at my years and years of maintaining an account with them, I find it hard to believe that Macy’s wouldn’t have helped clear this up in order to maintain me as a customer.
Keep getting calls from this number, they just call and don't leave any messages and once I answered and they remained silent and then hung up the phone, so definitely something phony going there with this number!
For the last couple of weeks I have been receiving 2 or 3 calls per day. I never answer and they never leave a message. I've never had a Macy's card and after all these calls if they are indeed representing Macy's I will never set foot or buy anything from Macy's in the future....
I just received a call from this number, I didn't answer it and they didn't leave a message.
It s not a collection call. I have never been to Macy's so I don't have any bills from them & I'm getting calls too.
I received a call from them today saying that I had a balance and they noticed I had not paid. They wanted the last four of my bank account number and they knew my bank that I used which is a local Credit Union. I told thwm thanks and that I would run my payment up to Macy's (which I had just paid). He said he could do it si I would not have to be bothered and I said I would just run it up and hung up on him. This is SCAM. No company would call to say you had an account due and then ask for the last four of your bank account.
