I've been getting calls from this number for weeks.I finally answered today and someone said something in a foreign language then hung up on me.
I have received messages, simply ending with this number, and have no idea what it is in regards to.
It's a scam, folks. HELLO!!! They used to call my house every day and ask for personal information and they have never told us what the call was for. Macy's told us that it is not "them". I think they call people at total random until they find people who admit that they have a Macy's account. Then they keep calling trying to extract personnel info. Report them to the "Consumer affairs" or "State Attorney."
I get a number of calls a day from this number. They never leave a voicemail message. I tried calling the number back once and there was no identifying company name in their outgoing mail message. All the operators were busy and no one take my call. I've tried to answer the phone and end these calls, but the call ends as soon as I answer the phone.
I received 2 phone calls from an automated service stating that they we're calling on behalf of macys & my account. This is a SCAM! Ironically I had just spoken to a Macy's rep. this morning regarding my account. I refused to give this man any information. I then called Macy's customer Service # on the back of my card & told them what happened. They checked & this # is NOT associated with Macy's! BECAREFUL!
said it is of a personal matter. when I call the number no one answers. It just says you may be recorded, etc, etc
its me again i think that reason it being a collection agency is lame because it was one miss payment and usually i would think collection agencies would call if its numerous miss payments. but thats just me what do u guys think
I got call from 8005113207, told me to call back to discuss personal matter about Macy's. So I did and told her that I did missed my last payment but already schedule for the next month. She kept on told me that was too far. . I told her they ALREADY CHARGE ME THE LATE FEE why I need to pay the minimun now. Then she kept asking me to give her the last 4 digits of the checking account number. When I did she kept told me it not the one, and asking me to give her the login id, password that I need to pay minimum $5.00 now to keep my account current. So I told her I'm not going to give her the login id. Just to be nice I can do is make the payment earlier. After I did she is gone. I feel weird and search this number and found I'm not the only one.
