keep getting multiple calls from this number

I received 4 phone calls from them today while I was out. When I called them back they didn't know what they needed to get a hold of me for... I haven't had an account with them for 3 years now.

I just got this number and this is from CAPITAL ONE.. I don't own capital one credit card.

I would never have known this was Capital One, if the internet did not exist. I receive a phone call at a quarter to 7pm, on my business line. I give my business greeting, and the woman on the other end sounds confused. She does not identify herself or her business, after talking to someone in the background she says 'hello?' again like she's unsure? I re-give my business greeting. She does not respond to me. She talks to someone in the background and after about 20 seconds (!!!!) hangs up without saying anything to me, not even to apologize for the call if it was a wrong one. I get wrong numbers all the time from collection agencies trying to reach people. When they called in the past, they used to give names (one outfit in Pennsylvania gave me four different spanish names, asking if they worked with me, which really flipped me out that that many people would give my business number as a work contact when they were not employed by me; nevermind that this company may have been trying to give any name hoping to see what stuck). The collection agencies aren't doing that anymore. If anything their customer service has gotten worse. So now I'm going to have to call and figure out what's going on, without giving them any info about myself, because I don't know who these people really are and it's not fair that I have to spend airtime identifying myself in full to people who don't have the professional courtesy to do the same for me. By the way, the outfit in Pennsylvania got a nice letter from their Attorney General's Office once I made my official complaints. Looks like Capital One is going to get one, too, after this.

813-274-1837 They call my cell phone 12 times a day. Female agent alwayscallin­g daily at odd hours.Won't stop. Tired of this. I don't own a Capitol One and never have.

It is Linda with Capital one with an important business matter

I have a Capital One Card.. It is who is calling... but I am not sure why since my balance is paid off.. I guess if it was important they would leave a message
