capital one has varies numbers and mulitple lines...which means each of them has their own number.

Capital one have numerous phone numbers...I so far have 5 different phone numbers for them

Make sure that you call them back because it could mean several things if you don't have a capital one account.1) that someone has stolen your identity2) that the real cardholder gave a fake phone number so that they wouldn't get harassedIt happened to me and once I told them that I didn't have a mastercard account they verified that four digits of my social security number and took me off the list. If you don't tell them that they are calling in error, they will keep calling.

This is not a Capitol One number. I have got 3 different numbers calling me 909, 309, and now this one 813. I called Capitol One yesterday and they told me that there is not a calling center for 909 or 309. I don't have an account with them. They want you to call back the number is why It rings once and no voicemail. It prompts you for a SS# or CC# which is the same as the real Capitol One's 800 number prompt. The only difference is people think it is real and enter the info cause they want to yell at them to stop calling them. BAM the crooks got your card number or SS#. Can someone call the President and tell him to spend a little of the money on stopping crimes like this in our country?

Many calls from this number. I don't answer the phone so don't know who or what they want.
