I calledCapital One and they said 18132741837 is not coming from them and is a possible scam. I receive these calls almost every day. I am never late on my payments. Something needs to be done about this. Some people are saying it is a valid number, and some aren't.
Called at 8:11AM on Sunday, December 26 but failed to leave a message. Is it "UNLAWFUL" to call before 9AM?
this 813-274-1837 number has called me at least 20 times in the past five days. i have never answered the calls and they leave strange mesages....like heavy breathing or random sounds in the background and do i do recall once geting a prompt from capitol one in one of the messages. i dont know what to do about this, but i wish i could find the jerk and shove that phone up his [***] then push him in front of the bus he probly rides around on.
I HAVE 6 NUMBERS THAT CAPITAL ONE ARE USING I HAVE ASKED THEM TO STOP CALLING MY PHONE 5 AND 6 TIMES A DAY AND ON SUNDAYS. I AM UNEMPOLYED AND DONT HAVE A JOB THATS WHY I HAD TO CLOSE THE ACCOUNT.
CAREFUL! This could be a phishing trick you get your credit card number. If you call the number, it SAYS "Thank you for calling capital one. Please say or enter your 16 account number." Don't EVER give your credit card number to someone calling you claiming to be your bank. Only contact your bank by using the number on the back of your credit card or what is published on their official web site.
