I received a message that I had a 10:45 appt Friday but they did not identify who they were. I did a search on the phone # and fouond it was Kaiser, I do not have any doctors at Kaiser and have never gone to them in the past.
Just received a call, didn't answer but they did leave a message. It's an appointment reminder telling me when and where my appointment is and what I need to bring.
I got a call as well with no appointments set and now the number has been busy for two days, just as kaiser has debt collection numbers listed as their own, the walnut creek social security office has the number for the county tax collector listed as one of their help lines.
received 4 'missed calls' from this number. Caller ID flagged it as Kaiser Permanente - no message was left.Messages have been left in the past. -Is this a new interpretation of HIPAA for 2017 ??
I received two from this number. On the 2nd call they left a voicemail reminder of my Kaiser dental appointment. It is legitimate. I have an appointment in two days.
I received a message from this number and the voice reminded people here of two appointments, gave the times and addresses. We don't need this information because we get an email reminder Anyway, the person didn't just hang up. We are in Oregon. Wonder if that makes a difference.
HIPPA does nothing to protect patient privacy- after all, it was written by healthcare lobbyists, including those for Kaiser.Kaiser is part of the healthcare problem.
