I just e-mailed ombudsman for my state and the bar is next. Zwicker sent me a debt letter and the attorney that is listed as licensed to my state works for another law firm in this state and he also was recently reinstated by my state from a fund that pays citizens for lawyer infractions. Boy, Zwicker sure knows how to pick them. Ombudsman e-mailed me back to and asked me to call them to discuss. My question was simple: is the attorney listed on the letter actually on Zwicker's payroll or do they just want to make it appear as if they have attorneys in each state.

I am reading this post because I too am getting calls from this place and would like it to STOP! I called and took care of the issue with the actual people that I had the debt with and I am NOT going to be bothered by people that claim to be " above" others and that have a so called job to do. If you are making so much money and sleeping so well at night you would not be so upset when someone who is trying hard to make it day to day wants to make a comment about how they are treated. I am glad to know that you sleep well at night being that you play the role of the devil to make all this so called money that you are making. If you have so much money, why not donate it or help someone else out that may not have it! Are you really as happy and you say you are? Is your life really as fullfilled as you would like it to be? MONEY IS NOT EVERYTHING! How's your health? Your life? I get so tired of people trying to justify doing wrong. Not all collectors are wrong... but many are because all they care about is all this money they are making and not the lives and families they are destroying! I think I too will just get a lawyer because I can see the evil forces working are not worth my time. Thank you to all that did post on this site because now I see that these people have some MAJOR issues. I just pray that God (if you don't know him you need to) allows you to stay in this good place because if the shoe was on the other foot and you did not have this grand job making others life bad, you would not be so quick to be rude and hateful. It would be a shame for you to have a major life issue that causes you to not be able to pay your bills. Michelle, I really hope you get your life right now because honey you are headed down the wrong path and that smack in the face is going to be painful. P.S. I pay my bills on time too and did you think that maybe the company can have some information wrong and that everyone that you collect from is not running from bills? And Michelle... you would prob do better at your job if you had a better attitude because if you called me I would not give your rude behind a penny just because you are you! AND HOW DUMB ARE YOU FOR POSTING INFORMATION ON A PUBLIC SITE TO SOMEONE THAT SAID THEY ARE GOING TO SUE YOUR IDIOT BEHIND! I hope they take you down with them and you can go find you a new job in this rough economy! You may be doing your job and you better hold on to it because you may not be able to get another one. I own a business and I would NEVER hire you or anyone else with your NASTYTUDE.

No grandma, I don't work for Zwicker, and I just got promoted to senior collector at my agency because I don't take bleeding heart [***] like that. I don't want or have to care about any debtor's personal situation. You owe money and you will pay it back. Not personal, just business - and I do it all within the law. Only morons would violate the law, which is why I doubt you have any recordings or proof. If you did you wouldn't be here crying.

Well, I've received calls from these guys, and all i have to say to them is my docket # and my lawyer info, so keep the calls coming, bc i'll keep track and be notifying my lawyer. People make mistakes and NOBODY IS PERFECT!! Oh, my gosh, wake up and see the light, people are not PERFECT!?! They make mistakes like every human being on this earth has!! So I have to file in order to keep my 4 year old and myself with a roof over our head bc his father was the dead beat that ran off and left us in the gutter. SO GUESS WHAT??? SH*T HAPPENS AND PEOPLE GOTTA DO WHAT THEY HAVE TO IN ORDER TO SUPPORT THEIR FAMILIES. PEOPLE PASS AWAY, LEAVING DEBT AND LESS INCOME FOR THEIR FAMILY, PEOPLE LOSE THEIR JOBS, PEOPLE HAVE ACCIDENTS AND CAN'T WORK, PEOPLE BETRAY THE ONES THAT TRUSTED THEM...AND IT HAPPENS EVERY SINGLE DAY!! Nice, SWEET. You must be some moron not to be happy about a law firm leaving themselves open to a law suit. Why don't you go sue Zwicker and Associates and use the money to buy a high school GED?

Alright, I have a legitimate debt with Amex. Like others, I went from being financially secure to nothing and am just starting to claw my way out of the hole. Taking care of my family is my primary concern, but now I have been served with court papers. If you have a legitimate debt I'm guessing that Z & A can sue you, since I have the papers to prove it. Now I'm trying to research my rights and see what I can do to avoid garnishment, levies, etc. I can't pay the debt back right now as I have about $100 in my account (which is better than the -$1000 I used to have), and need to feed my kids. Anyway, just a heads up. I know there have been people saying that these guys can't touch you, and depending on your state, that may be true, but in AZ they can at least serve you with papers, as I have them in my possession. I don't have money for an attorney or even to file chap 11, so I'll have to see what the internet can teach me. Good luck to everyone. These are tough times.
