I've been getting a lot of these calls over the last few days. I do have a Macy's account and I called them to either confirm that it was a legitimate call or report a fraud/scammer. I gave them the phone number and they did confirm it is a legitimate phone number. I told the rep that there wasn't anything for the caller ID, just Unavailable. The rep did confirm that it was a robo-dialer and that it was an attempt to collect payment on overdue balances (which I have as I forgot to pay the bill last month). This is also why it wouldn't leave a message for you. Hope this helps.

They keep calling me 5-6 times a day. I have Macy's credit card, but it's paid off.

I have received MANY calls from random numbers just like from all over the country. I decided to take a few min and I called an Atlanta one back 12 times.....I got 12 different people that answered (or changed name at least), 3 different organizations were given upon an answer over the course of my 12 calls. I hung up each time they answered os I could see just how much of a SCAM this crap is.

Collection call, this has been received at least 3 times, how do I get them to stop calling me.

I received a call from this number today (on my work line) requesting to speak with my mother. They claimed it was for a personal matter and asked for a number to reach her at. I explained to her if she was with a legit company that they should have the correct phone number to reach her at. She proceeded to get nasty and loud, stating this was the number given. I had to continue to explain that I will be reporting her for making a scam call to a federal government line. Absolutely a scam- do not give out ANY information. It is too easy to get people's phone numbers now.

I have been receiving calls from this number on a regular basis. Today alone they called three times. When I called back and told them to stop calling as we have never had a Macy's card I was hung up on. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the company name popped up right away (which is only common with companies with a record with the BBB). I am hoping they will stop calling after the BBB contacts them.

This is Macy's or some company that is associated with them (Bloomingdales etc..) Macy's is ridiculous about being late. My payment was due Friday, its Monday and I just realized I didn't pay it so I paid in online this morning and this afternoon I was getting calls. Im sure the payment hasn't processed yet.

I would say that it is quasi-sketchy, I didn't give out any personal information and instead told the lady on the phone that I would check my Macy's account online.
