male with an accent called and said he has some very important business with me. did not leave company name. i called back and an african american woman answered "good afternoon, macy*s. how may i help you?" i told her she wasn't macy*s... she was a scam artist and to remove me from her files or i would report her to the fcc (i had just been reading this site!)what recourse do we have to stop these idiots from calling?

I received the call repeatedly. Shows on Caller ID as OHIO CAL...said it was for Macy's but we do not and have not had an account with Macy's in over 2 years. I asked for a number to return their call and was given 18009476297 which takes me to a number that offers me to call another number for a fee of something like 3.95 per call. A complete scam! I say don't sweat the calls when they show up on caller ID, answer it and get information from them, tell them to not call anymore, and to only contact via mail.I am contacting better business to see if they can do anything.

I have received several calls. Caller does not leave a message, however today the caller identified himself as Giovanni Servanto, but did not say the company he was calling for or from. Would only say it was "personal business".

This is Macy's debt collectors, i paid my bill on time in store, but their "system" messed up and applied both payments i made to different accounts (star rewards and visa) to the same account, therefore making the visa account non paid. i have to pay with two checks each time because they mess up each time and mis-apply my payments. At least when i called customer service they fix everything, but it still is a hassle that i have to call.

when i got a call from this number, i was automatically put on hold. when someone finally decided to talk to me, they asked for "linda," which is NOT me. i'm fairly annoyed about the fact that they called my cell phone and wasted my minutes.
