I don't have a credit card with Macy's and this number is harassing me. It's a scam, so why don't you get it together.
so since she is african american she has to be a fraud. Get with it lady and pay your bill.
I have been receiving several calls a day from this number, and I let the machine pick it up, but there is nobody at the other end. After reading the posts, I checked my Macy's account and found I had an unpaid bill. I spoke with a rep from Macy's and told her I did not receive my on line statement. She adjusted the bill and I was given crdit for the service charge. So the call was legit. I told her that when they call, they never talk, and she said that they are not allowed to leave messages any more, but now that I paid on line they will stop bothering me.
Rec'd message on my cell from a "Mr. Earl", could not understand the message so I called back as the number was on my phone. He claimed it had to do with my Macy's account (that I do not have) and to call after 1PM as his system "was down", it was 1:44 PM!!! I want get to the bottom of this. If this taints my credit score by someone stealing my idenity I will be very quick to get my atty after them.
It may be a legit call. SO I checked all my records and bills, my accounts are up to date, my bills are paid. The 1st call said it was a personal Business Matter, no other information. It was really that serious! Why don't they send me something, binding and in writing? My bills come in and there is NO information on it that pertains to any missed payments or other problems. A legitimate business has my information and I always checked the preferred method of mail. If they are willing to put it in writing and give me a copy, it is legal and binding in a court of law. Also if there is a problem, I will take care of it. This is a SCAM pure and simple. How do I get back at them legally so they will stop!
Do u know the song by Tim Mcgraw" Be Humble n Kind. Don't assume everyone doesn't pay there bills. U should listen to the words if the song
they keep calling me its anoying!! they say i owe money when i know i dont.
Waldi -The funny thing is that, yes I was lucky, but the actual local Macy's credit department were Morons to me!, not the Ohio call folks. My calls completely stopped within one day after calling them. I don't blame you for saying "goodbye to Macy's. How dare they just blind side people that have old accounts that have been paid off for years or even people that just applied for a card but never followed through. The collection folks just bought a phone list! Very unprofessional! Wouldn't you think someone might care? Guess not! Good luck to you.
I got a call and some keep sayin hello! hello! hello! on my voice message. what number is this and who is calling?
All, Please make sure that you do not give the caller any personal information. As a matter of fact, do not speak to them. File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Their website is www.ftc.gov. I hope this helps. Best regards,
