Banks are supposed to be trusted professional business. However, they harassed you with calls to sale you BS from them making you pay more. Got insurance on my credit card from one of these calls a long time ago. When I was in a bad place it was time for what I brought from them to kick in. However, they made excuses and did not honour the insurance. One of the biggest mistake of my life trusting CIBC. I canceled the damn insurance and the calls started again. They are scammer taking your hard earn money. Banks makes tons from you but, treat you like [***]. A real honest professional bank would call ONCE or TWICE and leave you messages on your answering. Not harassed you with calls and not leave a single damn message. Shady business practices from CIBC.

I got this call everyday for the past week but never answered it till today. The lady said she's from CIBC and wants to give me financial advice and stuff like that. I said if I need anything I will go down to my bank and I will talk to them about it. The lady nicely replied and said ok that's not a problem, then hanged up. Hopefully they won't call again because they're as annoying as sh*t!

Got this number blocked the last time. Almost forgot until I checked the provider record. They kept calling almost everyday. Doesn't bother me because my phone doesn't ring when number is blocked. However other people should call and check with their bank and give them [***].

If you own an Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S4 here), you may have a Reject List on your phone which will automatically reject calls from phone numbers that you have in the list. I have this number among many others and I never hear my phone ring or get any notifications of missed calls etc. from these numbers. LOVE IT. Technology working in our favour ;)For the S4 on Android version 4.2.2 the Auto Reject list is accessed via the Phone app, then click on Menu button to get Call Settings, then it's under Call Rejection. *thumbs up*

I received this call because I wasn't paying my balance on my CIBC mastercard. It's legit, seriously lol. They're CIBC. they probably make mistakes and such, but I definitely came on the internet trying to figure out who was calling me so much and realistically, they're calling to either milk more debt out of me with accounts/credit cards from seeing me not pay my existing red zone off, or they're simply looking for the money I owe them. Made the payments, they should hopefuly [***] off soon. Again, it is definitely CIBC. I'm not from CIBC. I don't like them as a bank, I have a mastercard with them for its gas-station related features that save me money in the long run.
